The Beaverdale Fall Festival

Beaverdale is a little town just Southwest of Johnston. Every year in September they have a Fall festival sponsored by the city. We took the kids to the festival parade on Saturday and they had a blast! They had free donuts and orange juice before the parade started, then they handed out candy bags to the kids. I couldn't believe how much candy they threw, the boys actually got sick of picking it up. About half way through the parade they both decided they were ready to stop collecting candy and start eating it! It was a beautiful day and the kids had a blast!

That looks like such a fun day. Every kid needs to experience a great parade. Look at all the adventures and great memories your family is making in Iowa. Your boys are getting so big.
