We have been getting ready for Christmas at our house. The boys are having a blast helping with all the holiday preparations and pre-Christmas celebrations.
Carter and Ammon helped me make some Christmas goodies.
And of course Parrot and Cook-da-Book wanted to help too.
For Family Home Evening we decorated a gingerbread train and watched the Polar Express. The all inclusive kit was great, but the frosting left something to be desired.
The train turned out great! It didn't look quite like the picture on the box,
Carter had a Christmas party at preschool that I was able to attend with him.
They also played games and sang some Christmas songs. We can hardly wait for Dec 22nd! (Santa is coming to our house early this year because we will be in Utah on the 25th). We hope you are all enjoying the Christmas season.

So cute!!! We are actually doing christmas tonight at our house b/c we are leaving sat morning and Nate gets off a little early today so we jump on the opportunity when nate's around!!! Tomorrow he gets off late so My kids are super excited!!
Did we make the list to see you guys at christmas??!?!?!? Tell Colby he is in trouble if we didn't! :)
Talk to you soon!
Preschool looks like so much fun. Well, your whole lives look like so much fun!
I am starting to feel like a little kid again. This week is taking FOREVER. Emily and Elizabeth get here in the middle of the night on Friday- and it feels like the days are slow but once the boys are in bed time flies. It is getting harder and harder to do Christmas as Adam has a memory better than mine.
Tell the Utah family "Merry Christmas"
I love the pictures and it sounds like you had a fun family home evening. We are just sad we don't get to see you guys at Christmas so have lots of fun for us. Also my parents have Your mom and dads Christmas gift so my mom will probably bring it over to Frosts when you get to Utah, so if you could take that down with you we would appreciate it. Merry Christmas!
oh my gosh, isn't that first picture of Carter the most "colby" face you have ever seen...how funny! It looks like you have some good baking helpers and the train is a cute twist on gingerbread decorating. Hope you guys have a happy 22nd.
P.S. Tell Ammon I say hi...no, no tell him I say "hey there sexy thing"
How fun!
You guys always have the best FHE ideas!
Have fun having Santa come early, and have fun in Utah!
The candy was awesome. Carter and Ammon did a great job. From the pictures Carter looks very outgoing. I would never guess he is the shy one in his class.
All I have to say is that The Polar Express ties with Alice in Wonderland for the award of "kid's movie most influenced by psychotropics."
