Although we didn't have a ceremony, I have prepared a short speech to thank everyone who has helped get us through this first year.... (I've always wanted to give a speech at a ceremony!)
I'd like to thank my Mom for sending cards and packages for every major or minor holiday (she even sent me a Mother's day card!), I'd like to thank Kami for calling me every week and keeping me up to date on the "Utah gossip," I'd like to thank Susan for being my personal recipe consultant, Celeste for being a great running partner and motivating me to go running even when it is 5:30 am and/or raining, Ammon and Carter for going everywhere with me and being my constant companions, I'd like to thank Colby because he's the world's best husband (and really he's the reason why we are here!), I'd like to thank Karin, Emily, Ann,Elizabeth and all of you other faithful bloggers for keeping me entertained with your blogs when I was husbandless, Tonya for trading babysitting with me and giving Colby and I much needed date nights and last but not least, the Macaroni Grill for providing me with employment and discounted food. Here's to three more great years!

Colby looks so care-free in these pictures, what a load off! Enjoy every second of this summer. We can't wait to see you guys. By the way Shauni, good luck in your race.
Congrats on the first year, it probably will be the hardest just because you get used to it. The rest of the years will fly by and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
*I really enjoyed your speech, next speech you should do a video of it and post that. It has been a while since I have seen you, I think Scott E's wedding.
That was a great speech. And you're welcome! Your boys do look very handsome at the library. :)
Congratulations. It looks like I won't be seeing you guys in Utah, so have fun with Megan and take lots of pictures.
Sigh, I'm going to miss you guys! Love the blog. Oh, and PS, my name is spelled Tanya, not Tonya. Yikes, how long have you known me for!?
Tanya,
sorry about misspelling your name, if it makes you feel better I'm actually a poor speller (I know, surprising for an English major! Those BYU English grads would be disappointed!) I am very excited that you commented on my blog! I'm going to miss you guys- you need to start a blog so I can stay updated on the Bomsta fam.
I love your speech- what a great idea!! Love your blog. Enjoy your summer break!
Too Fun! I love Iowa, next to Missouri of course. When are you going to be in Utah? Travis wedding is June 15th. We want to have a Stewart party for the 4th of July before Scott E heads back east. I would love to plan it while you are here. Let me know.
Scott E. is moving East? to where? Why is it that as soon as I leave Utah I don't hear anything anymore? Oh, yeah, because I was the last of the Walt, Jr. representatives there.
Sally, we will be in Utah from June 3 to June 23, so we won't be around for the 4th of July- but I would love to come to any other family get togethers, it has been too long since I have seen your family! Emily, Scotty got into medical school at Uniformed Services in Maryland- they will be moving at the end of July and since you don't hear any gossip I will also add that his wife is expecting! She is due in January and they are very excited, they have been waiting for a long time!
