The Zoo
We had a "warm spell" for a couple of days and took the kids to the zoo. The boys had so much fun being outside! We went with Ammon's friends Carson and Caden. Carter thinks that he is one of the big boys too! Don't let this first picture fool you- it is really not a tropical paradise here, the kids are inside.

We had a zoo in Texas that we LOVED to go to when it wasn't too humid. Now I feel like I need to find a zoo to take the boys to. I'm jealous.
Shauni you always find the funnest stuff to do with your kids! There lucky to have such a fun Mom! I love the hats & glasses.
Sweet glasses! The boys looked like they were having a great time. I hope you enjoyed the warm weather while it lasted. We too, have been hit again by the icy fingers of winter. In fact, It is snowing here as we speak. Carter is such a "big boy". Do the older boys treat him the same as each other?
We love the zoo, too! And it's always better to go when it's a little chilly (even though you say it's warm, 50 degrees really is cold!). The animals are always more active and fun to watch.
But was it as fun as our trip to the Hogle zoo?
We went to the Austin zoo for Megan's birthday last year. It was the worst zoo in the world. They had a dog in a cage that you could adopt, and all the animals looked like they were one step away from the grave.
